Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [LEGAL NAME / COMPANY] ("we", "us"). They cover your use of the Rowvoice Google Sheets add-on and this website (the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for that organization.

1. The Service

Rowvoice creates PDF invoices from rows in a Google Sheets spreadsheet and saves them to your Google Drive. It runs inside your Google account, so you also need to follow Google's terms for Google Workspace and Google accounts.

2. Plans

• Free plan. Up to 5 invoices per calendar month. Invoices include a small "Made with Rowvoice" footer.
• Pro plan. Unlimited invoices, no footer and emailing invoices to clients, for $6 per month or $49 per year (plus applicable taxes), or the price shown at checkout.

We may change plan features or prices. A price change takes effect at your next renewal, and we'll give you at least 30 days' notice first.

3. Billing, renewal and cancellation

• Billing. Stripe bills Pro subscriptions in advance, and they renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can cancel any time from "Manage billing" in the add-on. Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and your account then returns to the Free plan.
• Which account gets Pro. Pro is linked to the Google account you upgraded from inside the add-on.
• Refunds. [REFUND POLICY: e.g. "If you're not happy, email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund." Adjust to your policy and local consumer law.]

4. Your data and your invoices

You own your spreadsheets, your data and the invoices you create. You give us only the permissions we need to run the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the content and accuracy of your invoices. This includes amounts, tax, legally required invoice details (such as tax IDs or sequential numbering rules in your country) and your dealings with your clients. Rowvoice is a document tool. It doesn't give accounting, tax or legal advice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create fraudulent or misleading invoices, or for any illegal purpose.
• Use the email feature to send spam or unsolicited messages. Emails are sent from your Gmail account, so Google's sending limits and policies apply.
• Try to get around plan limits or licensing.
• Interfere with or attack the Service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
• Resell the Service without our written permission.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service is licensed, not sold. Its software, templates, name and branding belong to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service under these terms.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Rowvoice reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on Google's and Stripe's services, which we don't control. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Pro plan, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.

8. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data.
• Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 4, 6, 8, 9 and 11 still apply after termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE / COUNTRY]. This doesn't change any mandatory consumer protection laws where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll notify you in the add-on or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated terms.
